Margaret Nandoli, Program Coordinator
Margaret is a jovial, dedicated woman, with much life experience to bring to our projects. Margaret, now 47, was born in Malawi to a Somalian mother and a Malawian father. She lived in neighboring Zambia for 17 years, and Botswana for 3, before returning to her home in the "warm heart of Africa." She volunteered for 6 years at the Lilongwe Diocese's Home-Based Care Project, where she helped implement community gardens and animal-keeping programs to benefit widows and needy families. Margaret herself was widowed a few years ago, and now lives with and cares for her extended family in Balaka. She is in charge of Bola Moyo's youth centre, The House of Many Stories, and is currently taking computer classes to further her education and skills.  She is very enthusiastic about working with us, and says she appreciates your prayers and support as we move forward with these much needed programs.

Mr. Atanazio Ngumbi, Youth Officer
Mr. Ngumbi is a former Bola Moyo volunteer and is now a hired staff member at the youth centre.  Mr. Ngumbi (his name means Mr. Termite!) is in his mid-50s, the father of 11 children, and married to his high school sweetheart.  He loves engaging the kids in drama-related activities and is always teaching the kids new things.  A while back he taught them how to create "running water" with a plastic bottle and a piece of string.  He loves coming up with these types of gadgets and encouraging the kids to be thoughtful and respectful young adults.

Isaac Liwotcha, Youth Officer
Isaac also started as a Bola Moyo volunteer.  He is a well-known musician in the town of Balaka.  He mainly works with the centre's drama and music clubs, teaching singing and rhythm and a bit of music theory.  Isaac is in his mid-thirties, and married with two children.  He is in charge of tracking the secondary school students we sponsor, calling them together for regular meetings, discussions, and grade report reviews.
