What's in a name?

Bola Moyo is a Chichewa (language spoken in Malawi) phrase that literally means "better life." Yet to people in Malawi 'Bola Moyo' means a great deal more: It is a bittersweet saying that folks use when they have little food on their tables, leaks in their roofs, and concerns about the future. It's a way to encourage oneself and others, saying that though today has troubles, at least there is life.
